Whitney is the season 1 winner of Fox’s reality cooking show, Masterchef. She is a chef, cookbook author, recipe and menu developer, and food judge.
She has been featured across the globe showcasing her Southern cuisine in China, Dubai, Malaysia, and South Africa.
Whitney develops blog posts and recipes for companies and magazines such as Big Green Egg, Tervis, Penobscot McCrum Potato Company, SousVide Supreme, Southern Living, Clean Eating, Self, and Flavors. She has appeared on Good Morning America and the FABLife show with Chrissy Teigen. She hosts satellite media tours for food and cookware companies.
She was the first Southern chef to be featured at ChefDance during the Sun Dance film festival.
And most recently, Whitney was chosen as one of TJ Maxx’s Hero Women. She has served as the national spokesperson for Vidalia Onion Committee, celebrity fashion show panelists for Neiman Marcus CUSP, co-host for Daytime talk show, and food expert for product promotions.
Whitney is the author of the cookbook Modern Hospitality: Simple Recipes with Southern Charm (Rodale) with foreword by Gordon Ramsay, and Whitney Miller’s New Southern Table (Harper Collins Christian Publishing).
She collaborated with John Rivers at his Southern restaurant, The COOP in Winter Park, Florida. As chef de cuisine and recipe developer, she used her talents to curate new menu items.
Whitney resides in Franklin, TN with her husband, Ryan and son, Miller.
